Retail PKGs can be game demos, full games and updates (from orbispatches), as long as you have the disc and/or license. The way it works is by utilizing IDU mode that is basically built-in every PS4's firmware.

29 wrz 2021 · Developer marcussacana has released an update to DirectPackageInstaller for the PS4, a tool that previews and sends pkg files to your hacked PS4. This new version 2.0 adds proxy server and compressed files support.
