21 lis 2014 · I noticed when I did this the "minimize" button between the red and green open and close buttons at the top left turned yellow. It has previously been grayed out. Safari now opens "full screen" and I still have the menu bar visible at the top of the screen.
5 wrz 2023 · Maximize Safari by clicking the green icon and selecting "Enter Full Screen." Alternatively, use keyboard shortcuts like "Cmd + Ctrl + F" to make Safari full-screen. Once Safari is in full-screen mode, go to "System Settings > General" and uncheck the box next to "Close windows…".
10 cze 2018 · Try going to System Preferences/General and uncheck Close windows when quitting an app. Open Safari, use command - control - F to go full screen. Then quit Safari, reopen, and see if you get full screen. If that doesn't work, there is no way I know of to force it to open in the full screen mode.

9 maj 2023 · Option 1: Don't boot up because you never shut down. Just sleep. See: https://macmost.com/a-beginners-guide-to-whether-to-shut-down-or-sleep-your-mac.html. Option 2: Don't close your Safari window. It is the WINDOW that is full screen, not the app.
When I restarted my Mac, for some reason, Safari won't return to fullscreen mode despite attempts to click on the icon on the upper right hand corner or by going through the View menu manually. ( I've also tried the short cut keys as well, Control + Command + F , to no avail).
