3 maj 2010 · i deleted the oil cooler lines on my previous 97 safari, noticed the oil pressure raised a bit and it made the other weak seals leaked (front and rear of the engine). if it doesn't leak that much, i would'nt worry about it.
18 maj 2011 · I'm buying a 01 Suburban 2500 4x4 w/6.0L and wanted to know others experiences good or bad towing over 8K. I plan on using this to occassionally tow my 31' travel trailer that weighs about 8,700lbs. Also any suggestions on mods for hp/tq?

19 gru 2010 · Try cleaning up the motor and undercarriage with some degreaser to remove the current oil and grime, then run it for a few minutes to see if you can pinpoint the leak
5 lis 2011 · I just went and checked the cam position sensor and found that it was dry all around it. I started the engine and found a stream of oil that appears to be coming from behind and just above the power steering pump. I checked to make sure it wasn't the power steering fluid leaking.
Looks like the super common oil cooler line leak. verify the fluid is oil, not power steering fluid (another common leak in this area). Clean everything up, and look at the fittings when the engine is running to confirm….
