10 paź 2023 · On my iPads and iPhone, YouTube chat for replayed videos does not appear in either the YouTube app nor on Chrome. But when I open them in Safari, the chat appears. I believe this is a relatively new problem (say, in the past 6 months or so), but it definitely preceeded iOS/iPadOS 17.
YouTube Comments or live chat (also fixes comments not posting/loading forever) weren't showing on iPad (8th gen & iOS 14.4.1). This is how I fixed the issue.
I recently had to update my YouTube app and noticed when I updated it I can no longer view the chat for live videos when I am in full screen mode. The chat used to be present in the bottom left corner when you were in full screen, but now it doesn’t show up.
