10 lip 2021 · Introduction over, I found this Sachs Performance Clutch Kit that comes with a pressure plate, TOB and a disc that can handle up to 400ft/lb of torque, giving me a bunch of headroom as my tune only develops 350 maximum.
SACHS is an OEM clutch, but can hold a little more power. Since you cannot resurface a DMF, make sure you either inspect your current one very carefully or buy a new one with a new clutch.
25 sie 2016 · I have about 3,000 miles on my Sachs SRE clutch. There is no clutch slip with my Stage 1 tune. The clutch grabs very smoothly and positively. After break in clutch effort has settled at about 50% more than stock. Still very usable without issue at long lights. At least that is my perception.
12 sie 2023 · Sachs has a kit (881864999502 & 883082001422) that is priced in between CM and OEM. There are few reviews, but all are positive. Sachs being an OEM manufacturer (more likely to be higher quality) swayed my decision to go with them. Last but not least, I also picked up a new DMF.
21 cze 2018 · If you’re looking for a clutch that won’t give you a leg workout on your daily driver check out the Sachs Clutch. I also want to thank Dave and Mike at Kormodiv Inc. located in Montclair. They did a great job installing the clutch and intercooler.
25 sie 2016 · A few months of occasional slippage in 5th/6th gear at low RPMs, I decided to bite the bullet and buy the Sachs SRE clutch kit for the MK7 GTI. (Purchased from Emmanuele Design, super fast shipping from Germany). I wanted to retain the DMF and keep the car drivable.
7 lip 2008 · An alternative would be a Luk clutch with a Sachs flywheel. Please share your opinions/experience with Sachs clutches and flywheels in Corvettes. Except for a K&N air filter and freer flowing exhaust, my car is a stock L98 5.7 liter V8 with the 4+3 Doug Nash manual/automatic overdrive setup.
