The Sabine Humane Society was formed to help the abused, deserted, and thrown away animals in Sabine Parish, Louisiana. The Societyʼs main goal was to build and operate a shelter for that purpose. Finally in October of 2010, that goal came to fruition when our Facility opened.
We stand with shelters and humane societies around the country in the mission to find abandoned animals homes and to help rectify the over-population crisis of dogs and cats in the US.

Donia McCann was the lucky winner of a small cat/dog carrier from the Sabine Humane Society at Many’s Fall Fest.
