For any failure, cycle Tech 2 and retest. If problem persists, contact Customer Support.
So I just happened to click on the Saab subreddit on a whim and see this comment. I wrote the patch for Tech2Win that lets it connect to Saabs. Not sure if I've heard any success stories with the VCX Nano. I can confirm it works all day long on my clone GM MDI 1 though.
If you buy a tech 2 on eBay you would need a Saab card v148.000 or higher if they make a newer one.
Some people report that the GM MDI interface clones (not a mongoose interface, but similar) worked better for getting Tech2Win, which is a virtual Tech2 interface working but I'd say it's unreliable and unverified so you're on your own there.
