Some people report that the GM MDI interface clones (not a mongoose interface, but similar) worked better for getting Tech2Win, which is a virtual Tech2 interface working but I'd say it's unreliable and unverified so you're on your own there.
If you can buy a genuine Tech 2 for a price you can stomach, go that route. Usually, though, that'll set you back a grand or two. The clone Tech 2s have all sorts of problems but most are livable or there are workarounds, and you can always buy a clone for $300 or so.

If you buy a tech 2 on eBay you would need a Saab card v148.000 or higher if they make a newer one.

3 lip 2020 · I actually found out from a gm mechanic that there's a program called tech2win that you can get that does everything the tool does. Without spending $300+. The only other thing is you need another device as a go between from the car to the pc.
30 kwi 2011 · I am an aircraft mechanic by trade and when I get into any aircraft I am always looking around at mechanic details, labels, warnings, etc. On each and every one of those brand new 737s I saw on the main cabin door a label that said clearly: "BOEING - Made in China".
