21 lip 2021 · I'm curious if y'all build your own display cases or buy them. Buying seems hugely expensive, but making one doesn't seem easy. If you make your own, do you use glass or acrylic?
16 maj 2012 · I am getting on the road with my Trumpeter Bf109K4 in 1/24 scale finally after 4-1/2 months building the cockpit and engine. Seems like it is going to resemble an aircraft after all! I am wondering where the best place to obtain a nice display case in which to display it once I have it finished. Anybody got any leads. Thanks, Joe
Most aircraft, armor and vehicles can be easily displayed in large curio cabinets, but large scale ship models will not fit in most curio cabinets. The only alternative is to purchase or build individual display cases.
2 sie 2020 · In general I prefer to show them flying with gear up. That means building some form of display stand and in some cases finding crew. But on the stands I'm thinking wooden display mounts with metal (brass or aluminium) tube or clear acrylic rod.
