17 cze 2008 · Runt packets are packets that are less than the minimum packet size (64 bytes for Ethernet). They often occur due to collisions on the line. On switches the cause is usually a mis-matched duplex problem (full on one end and half on the other) caused by bad autodetection of a device.

Use the ip name-server x.x.x.x command in global configuration mode. x.x.x.x is the DNS server. Another option is to configure each host you want to resolve ip host computername x.y.z.a also in global configuration mode. Take a look at this .
11 kwi 2017 · If you do as M. suggests and look under the unified search tool (top right corner) in Prime Infrastructure 3.x it will indeed dop the job. That's assuming you have Prime Infrastucture setup properly. It will pull all the mac address tables, arp caches etc and correlate the data for you.
14 lip 2015 · We are running CUCM 8.6 and I would like to know the best way to search for devices by their IP address. I know its not easily searchable in CUCM administration but is there a report we could run to get this information?

15 lip 2021 · Displays the default domain name, the style of name lookup service, a list of name server hosts, and the cached list of hostnames and addresses. To define a static hostname-to-address mapping in the host cache using IPv4, use the domain ipv4 host command in XR Config mode.
The ip domain-lookup function uses DNS lookup when it can't find the host name locally. This can be used not only for telnetting into the host. It can be used anywhere, where an IP address is applicable. For example in the ping command. Or when you set up your SNMP server address.
