This guide describes the most effective methods to train the Agility skill. The experience rate estimates in this guide do not incorporate the use of any experience boosting items or bonus experience. Agility is a support skill that allows players to regain run energy more quickly and to take advantage of shortcuts found throughout RuneScape.
The way I see it, if jagex and the rest player base agrees with this sentiment, there are two solutions: rework the agility skill so that people have a reason to train at a course over just SHBs, or just fix SHBs to be less OP to push people back to old content.
The current skillcape is a glorified graceful cape. Wearing it around the game should have a permanent stamina run drain effect. Otherwise there’s currently not a huge incentive to get 99 agility.

These are actually some solid suggestions. Agility should also be incorporated into our combat arsenal and it would be interesting if they pushed it to 120 with many other unlocks that would add to our combat experience. It could also serve as future reward space from high level agility courses and/or boss drops.
The Agility master cape inherits the perk of the base cape: it prevents the player from failing any Agility obstacles, except for the Agility Pyramid sliding block and the Brimhaven Agility Arena sawblade (both can still deal damage if timed improperly, even whilst cape is equipped).
