28 gru 2017 · Now, when I try to launch the game all I see is a black screen, if I alt tab I see the console opened, but I can't focus it because DOOM's on fullscreen mode and frozen. Is there a launch parameter to start the game in Window mode so I can read the console?

Use DOSBox to run the original DOS game executable (e.g. doom.exe for Doom, doom2.exe for Doom II, etc.). Poor performance can be improved by increasing the "cycles" parameter in the DOSBox configuration file.

19 mar 2020 · Do you guys know of any way to get it to start in offline mode as of today other than setting steam itself to offline? Renaming `Boot_Sequence.bk2` (`Boot_Sequence.bk2.bak`) or using `+com_skipSignInManager 1` in launch options no longer works.
