8 gru 2018 · I have an Old Model 41 Blackhawk in excellent condition. Its serial number is LO5S. The serial number indicates a second, and an examination reveals the frame was filed down to allow the S serial number before the gun was blued.
17 lip 2024 · As mentioned, Ruger started with serial number 1 when it introduced the .41 Magnum Blackhawk in 1965, thru 15967 in 1968. When it became necessary to add prefixes in 1969, Ruger assigned #40 to the .41 line, beginning with 40-00001, running thru 40-22906 in 1973, end of the Old Models.
29 sie 2017 · This was in 1962 at about serial number 42,600. That same year, several new calibers were added to the original Blackhawk including the .41 Magnum, .45 Colt, .30 Carbine and convertible models with interchangeable cylinders in .357/9mm or .45 Colt/.45 ACP.
