This event has become a favorite tradition of both young and old in Hampton Roads. Held annually in April, thousands of community members purchase their duck to compete in the big race with hopes of winning fantastic prizes, especially the $10,000 grand prize!
Ducks will be launched into the Intracoastal Waterway at Great Bridge in Chesapeake, VA at approximately 2:15p.m. on Saturday, April 25, 2020. The race course will be approximately 1/8 mile in length or as established by CHIP's Community Outreach Committee ("the Committee").
