Monitor messes up desktop icon sizes and resolution when switching mods or hz's: Resize your icon sizes back to %100 and maybe fix the resolution back to native if needed. Monitor doesn't wake up: It's the "off timer" / "eco timer" which completely turns off the monitor.
If the settings on your monitor say 240hz, your PC should show it on Windows settings > Display > Adv Display section and also the Nvidia control Panel. Make sure to set the monitor first then Connect others after everything is running fine.
Using an RTX 3080 FE, these issues are apparent with 240Hz/Display Stream Compression (DSC) enabled: Horizontal scanlines are very apparent when either: HDR is enabled, night light (blue light filter) is enabled in windows, or other specific events (inversion test) or gifs are displayed.
20 paź 2023 · Hi all I got a weird problem that just occured with my RTX 3080. If i boot my pc with any outputs such as hdmi or DP the gpu wont display an output however if i boot it without any cables then plug in my cables it will display and run like normal.
30 lip 2021 · I I just built my new PC but it's not wanting to display to the screen and says no signal (won't even show bios), switched back to my old card and it works perfectly. The 3080s lights and fans turn on but nothing else.

5 kwi 2013 · No, going by what I've seen with a 3090, a 3080 will not be enough to drive said monitor to 100FPS+ with high/ultra settings. A 3090 can barely do it in most AAA games. When discussing gaming there really isn't much point of even mentioning NvLink.
