You just need to copy the video files into your project's movies subfolder. Details on file format etc can be found in the help, accessible via Help -> Contents from the editor's menu bar. E.g. from the Documentation -> Asset Standards section:

So if you have a video called "Movie of Dogs.webm", you have to change the name to something like this: "Movie_of_Dogs.webm" You just place the file(s) in the projects Movie folder. Then have an event play the movie.

Webm is the file extension used for movies in RPGMaker, so that should work. There’s a possibility your footage is corrupted, or something on your end, because RPGMaker by default works with webm.

Doesn't seem like it's where it was in VX Ace... 1) Open your Game Project's folder on your hard drive. 2) Locate the "movies" folder, and place your video assets inside. 3) The compatible videos are now imported into your game, and you can choose them from the "Play Movie" event creation button.
