RPG_Gamers is a subreddit for fans of all video game RPGs from JRPGs (Final Fantasy, Dragon Quest), Western RPGs (Fallout, Baldur's Gate), action games with RPG elements (Diablo, League of Legends), and discussions related to them.
Lurk around and you might get lucky. However, if you're looking to move over to full-on Play-by-Post, of actual TTRPGs rather than free-form RPing (which is also still a thing), sites like Myth-weavers.com and GamersPlane.com are great communities, as is the hybrid site rolegate.com.
19 wrz 2019 · "Escape from the Institute", for the new Alternity 2.0 RPG, is pretty much the perfect introductory scenario IMO. The actual adventure (as in the play at the table, not a separate session or process) walks the players through creating their characters and how the system works, and its conclusion is the perfect setup for a follow on campaign ...
The ones I recommend are Fallout 1 and 2, and New Vegas. Fallout 1 and 2 are great games if you don't mind the top down play, but New Vegas is my personal favorite. You can be anything you want on New Vegas, I recommend you don't look up videos about the game on YouTube, just play it and enjoy it.
