Brimber Gym. Make sure that you heal your Pokémon before proceeding! It is recommended that you train your Pokémon until they are at Lv. 22 or higher. Once you get back from Mt. Igneus through Route 6, the Brimber Gym will be unlocked. Enter the building behind the Pokémon Center and up the stairs.
Starter: The starters in this game currently go up to gen 6, but it's planned in the next update to include gen 7 as well. Your best bet is of course something that evolves into it's second stage sooner then anything else to chop off a couple hours.
Route 6 is a connection between Brimber City and Mt. Igenus. It is divided into two paths, one way leads to Mt. Igenus and the second path leads to a dead end, where you can see hills of earth. Underlined trainers can be re-challenged.
