Marines bonused his way through the D1 state tournament to become the 36th wrestler in MHSAA history to become a 4x state champion. He joins Kevon Davenport and Dylan Gilcher as the only Shamrocks to reach that feat.
The Wolverines and Chippewas are now the top intrastate wrestling rivalry in the State of Michigan. There is expected to be 4,000 fans turning out for this match which will be the largest for wrestling fans in the state for a NCAA match.
