you can deffer the problem by use of the first rule of mechanics: 1 Mechanic patrolled to each Ride's Exit. (or for Dueling Mobius coasters, one mechanic total) with a 10 minute inspection window. I'm playing scenario and some pre-made rollercoasters had a crash with guests dying.
Actually, I've experienced a couple of crashed before; the best way to deal with them in the long run is simply to reset the coaster, fix anything that might have caused the crash, and then reopen it.
