Morality can be a source of social harmony since it concerns how peo-ple ought to relate to each other. Societal arrangements, social norms, and cultural practices do embody ways for people to relate to each other with fairness, and to respect the welfare of others.
We first identify key features that characterize theoretical approaches to human morality, extract five distinct classes of research questions from the studies conducted, and visualize how these aim to address the psychological antecedents and implications of moral behavior.
