God spells can only be used by Super Mages or higher. God spells can be picked up by anyone. Curse spells can be used by anyone who has a Tome or is Tomeless, and will unlock the Mana of the victim.

Here you will find a compendium of all spells and their shared features. Spells each have a Socket Type which will accept Mana Dice of particular values relative to the number or symbol within the Socket. The Charges of a spell represent how many casts per turn, or per combat, depending on the Charge type.
Spells. Spells are the main way to deal damage in the game, so be sure to use them frequently. Each Spell has their own unique snap. Snaps are obtained by casting a spell on the dummies 50-100 times and then talking to Keylone.
To get spells you need to find scrolls, each scroll is a different spell. To use a scroll you have to get a tome (which will take the place of your weapon) or be tomeless (you can use magic without a tome but it is hard to get)
Tomes are books that can be used to cast magical spells with mana. Tomes can be acquired by either: Purchasing one from the drunk old man in Oresfall by the bar, or being a race that naturally spawns with one.
