Scrolls can be found throughout the map in any trinket spawn or can be obtained through Scroll Roulette at the Skycastle. In order to use a scroll, you need to have a Tome or be Tomeless to use the scrolls by just clicking with them to obtain the Spell.

Skills can be acquired through class progression, leveling up (skills acquired vary depending on race), completing certain quests, or using scrolls (some skills learned from scrolls are class exclusive and will only work in battle if you are the necessary class).
Everytime a trinket spawn is called, the game will roll between trinket, gem, scroll and artifact. If it rolls trinket, then it'll roll again to determine which trinket to spawn. If it rolls gem, it'll roll again for gem. If it rolls scroll, it'll just spawn a scroll.
just rolled scroom and i farmed scroomville trinkets for a while and have close to 200 silver now. what class should i go and what should i buy for it. Go ultra spy (whisperer) and learn to farm Castle Rock. Farm it until you get a Mysterious Artifact and use it to obtain a scroom key.
