3 lip 2021 · The first time launching the game, played just fine full screen. Then every time after that, just goes to a small window and can't manage to go make it full screen again. It's the ONLY game that is experiencing that problem.
If you are launching RDR2 from Epic Games, go to account settings, scroll to the end and you will find dropdowns of the games you own, open RDR2'one, tick "Add command line arguments" and add "-fullscreen" to the field that appears, like in the following screen : https://imgur.com/a/HA1GRiE
Players must go through the graphic settings page to make this change.

26 gru 2022 · Try navigating to C:\Users\yourusername\Documents\Rockstar Games\Red Dead Redemption 2\Settings, open up system.xml, find <windowed value="1" /> and change it to <windowed value="0" />, close it, save, and set the file to read-only for good measure. See if that helps.
6 mar 2024 · Corrupted or incomplete game files might prevent the game from running in full screen. I use the respective game platform’s (such as Steam or Rockstar Launcher) built-in verification tool to check and repair game files, which can often resolve display issues without further action.
