City Council. The legislative and governing body of the City of Rockport consists of a Mayor and four Council Members. The Mayor is elected at large; one Council Member is elected from each of four wards.
City of Rockport Political Wards Map. Rockport has two Political Wards. Ward-1 (Purple & Green) and Ward-2 (Orange). We elect two Council Members per Ward every 4 years and the Mayor from the City-at-Large also every 4 years. The next election for City-Wide Elected Officials will be in 2022.
