Using the Terrain Editor, you can easily generate and edit terrain either at a voxel or region level with the option of importing a heightmap and colormap. For more precise, dynamic, or procedural terrain editing, you can also script terrain creation.
1. Open the Roblox Studio editor. 2. Create a new terrain object. 3. Click the Seed property and select the desired seed. 4. Click the Generate button to create the terrain. You can also modify the seed after it has been generated. To do this, click the Seed property and enter a new value.

17 paź 2020 · Here is a terrain map inspired by the Faroe islands, ignore the name, it was originally meant to resemble the Scottish Highlands but i changed my mind while working on it. https://www.roblox.com/games/4929930657/Scottish-highlands. This is a very large “jungle” map, it has high cliffs and canyons as well as rolling hills.
13 wrz 2023 · Essentially they use multiple layers of noise to determine biome attributes (temperature, humidity, and weirdness) and map this to specific biome types. The biome type is then applied to a heightmap generated from additional layers of perlin noise.
