In October 1993, Gary Ball died of pulmonary edema on Dhaulagiri, the world's seventh-highest mountain, [3][4] leaving Hall to run Adventure Consultants on his own. By 1996, Hall had guided thirty-nine climbers up to the top of Everest.

3 lip 2023 · Shortly after the call, Rob Hall died on the slopes of Everest due to Hypothermia. Hall’s body was found on 23 May by David Breashears and other mountaineers from the IMAX expedition that was filming Everest.
Hall died of exposure on the South Summit on May 11. Two other members of the Adventure Consultants party and several others, including Scott Fischer, an American who was leading a competing commercial expedition, perished in the same storm.
