Follow the instructions below for crimping the connector to the cable. CRIMPING MODULAR PLUGS (Fig. 5 and 6): 1. Assemble connector to prepared cable end, per the connector manufacturer’s instructions. (Note: Verify the required “pin-out” configuration prior to crimping connector-cable assembly.) 2.
Crimp the plug using the Cable ProTM CPRJ11-45 Crimp Tool. Place the plug into the crimp tool and squeeze handles tightly. The copper splicing tabs on the plug will pierce into each of the eight conductors. The locking tab will cinch onto the outer jacket of the cable. Remove plug from tool.
