Jefferson Highway Bridge - Muskogee, Oklahoma. This “through-truss” bridge was built in 1922 for travel along the Jefferson Highway over the Arkansas River north of Muskogee. The “free” bridge replaced a former toll bridge at the location and was funded by a bond issue.
