Basicly it's worthless. Save yourself the sanity of caring and do 1 more kill. You'll probly get more kills not worrying about the ring switch and get more rng worth of kills than putting the ring on. I know there were times I had to stop attacking to swap rings because I zoned out.
It is an expensive and unnecessary item for most scenarios. Unless you are regularly doing things that require a LotD (certain high level bosses, elite clues, etc. check the wiki for the full list of stuff), sell the ring and buy other items that would be more useful. Sell lotd, buy gear.
