The Ring of Fortune is an enchanted onyx ring that, when worn, slightly increases the chances to receive certain unique drops and rewards that are affected by the luck mechanic. It is classified as a tier 3 luck enhancer, in addition to also providing the effects of a tier 1-2 luck enhancer.

Ring of Fortune is a relic power that players can harness at the mysterious monolith at the Archaeology Campus. Once activated, players will always gain the effect of tier 3 luck. It costs 3,000 chronotes to harness and uses 150 monolith energy.
The hand of glory (Kharid-et) is the hand with third-lowest Archaeology requirement and can be found at the Kharid-et dig site on the Orcus altar behind the pontifex barrier, requiring the pontifex signet ring to enter. A Ring of Fortune can then be added to create the finished relic.

Convert LoD into the relic, equip the relic, use your ring slot and freed up inventory slot for something better. Buy a RoF if you want the teleports still on hand.
Requirements: 87 Magic to enchant to make. Where Found: Player Made (See Notes). Item Uses: Worn to provide Tier 3 luck enhancement. Notes: Made by using the Level 6 Enchant spell on an Onyx ring or by using an Enchant onyx. Tier 3 luck includes: Increased chance at receiving Gems while Mining.
On the wiki 1 it says that the ring of fortune gives a 1% increased chance to get a rare drop from certain bosses. Looking at, let's say, Kree'arra's drop table, the chance at an Armadyl armour piece is 1/384.
