Richard Hull Middle School is named after Richard Hull, a prominent businessman and philanthropist in Duluth, Georgia. He was instrumental in the opening of a health clinic, which later became Joan Glancy Hospital. Mr. Hull is also credited with building the original Hull Elementary School.
