A unique skating experience awaits you in downtown Chicago at Maggie Daley Park. Enjoy skating on a ribbon, surrounded by trees, bushes and other natural aspects, with the city skyline in view. Reservations are required to skate whether you bring your own skates or rent them.
You can glide along on the charming rink nestled in the shadow of a Chicago icon — Cloud Gate, known as “The Bean” — and the lights of Michigan Avenue. Then take a spin along a one-of-a-kind ribbon of ice that winds past snow-capped pines and the glimmering Chicago skyline.

2024-2025 Ice Skating Season. Download the 2024-25 Group Outing Skating Form. The Maggie Daley Park Skating Ribbon is Open for Public Use through October 31st. Roller blades, roller skates, and scooters can access the Ribbon daily from 6am-9pm with your own equipment.
