Treasure Trails is a Distraction and Diversion which involves solving clue scrolls, rarely dropped items dropped by the majority of monsters in RuneScape. Clue scrolls contain clues and riddles for the player to solve to eventually find a reward casket, which could contain unique rewards.
Clue scrolls are generated primarily by monster drops, but also can be generated through Thieving, and as certain activity rewards. Each level of clue has a very different set of possible rewards and items, and hazards, so it is worth knowing what the player is in for.
The rewards consist of generic items, shared treasure trail items, and items that are unique for elite clues. Additionally, players have a 1/5 chance to receive a master clue scroll upon opening an elite casket - this does not take up one of the 4-6 reward slots.
1 lut 2020 · For any type of Treasure Trail activity, you will need to carry the Clue scroll. If you die and lose the clue, then you cannot get it back. You will have to try to get another one. You can only have one clue at a time, either in your bank or inventory.

Clue scrolls contain clues and riddles for the player to solve to reach the casket and reap the rewards. The higher the level of the monster, the harder the clue scroll that it will drop. Treasure Trails are only available to members.
Players must unscramble the image in order to receive the next clue or the reward. During master clues, players are given three cryptic clues. Players must go to the destination each cryptic provides and dig at the correct spot to obtain a torn part of the clue scroll.
