I'm looking at the LDG Z-100 Plus and the Mat-tuner mAT-30. I know MFJ makes a few auto tuners but have not yet been able to determine which one matches up best with the 891. What do you use & what else is available?

18 sty 2023 · I have a second hand Z-100 coming to me soon, so I've been reviewing the manuals and documentation for it to get myself acquainted. I've found that it seems to have been replaced by the Z-100A and Z-100Plus models, but I can't really tell the differences between them.
I got a good deal on an LDG outdoor auto tuner and here's my opinion after 6 months of use. To test it I strung up a center fed, 80m dipole in the trees 20 meters up. I bring 450 ohm window line down to a high power 4:1 balun. From here a 30 meter LMR400 coax runs to the Icom HF rig.
18 lis 2020 · I’ve been powering the Z-11 Pro for 10 years off of a discarded sealed lead acid battery that’s being charged by a Micro M+ charge controller and 5 watt BP solar panel. I’ve never needed to maintenance it. One of LDG’s latest portable ATUs is the Z-100A.
