The Money Tree is a piece of decoration that generates income. It is acquired by selling 10 of each product. The player can earn additional Money Trees by selling 20, 50, 100 and every consecutive 100 of each product. The Money Tree also provides 15 decoration, double that of the normal Tree.
Money trees don't drop money to collect, unlike in the first Retail Tycoon. It instead gives a money bonus from sales, increasing by 2% per money tree placed down. When getting a money tree for the first time you would have to sell a certain item a certain amount of times.
Retail Tycoon 2 (RT2) is the sequel to Retail Tycoon, and was released as open beta on November 6th, 2020, and released for free on July 16th, 2021. It is in development by Secondhand Studios, and is currently playable for free. It holds an approval rating of 87%, out of 479k total votes.
You can get a money tree by selling 10 of every possible item. Additional money trees are earned at 20, 50, 100, 200, and every 100 after that. You can check how much of each item you've sold through the Supply tab.
