FoV mod worth the bugs? : r/ResidentEvilVillage. About to start playing Resident Evil Village. Loaded it up and walking around the house the FoV is offensively small even playing on a TV. Reading through the Nexus Mod page for FoV mods there is some minor visual issues but also torch issues. Is this detrimental to the experience?
11 kwi 2023 · tried the old fov fix on nexus mods but seems capcom has patched it and threatened the author of the mod with legal action. tried Re Framework and it worked perfectly. Its super simple to use, download the zipfile from their github page. https://github.com/praydog/REFramework/releases.
Hey there, im playing on 3 monitors and the fov is too much strict to me, literally i cant see nothing. Can you tell me where i can find the game cfg file to customize the fov? Thanks guys!
8 maj 2021 · How to change the Field of View (FOV) in Resident Evil Village. The field of view settings in Resident Evil Village (RE8) are locked, so here is how you can change them: Download Lazy FOV and Vignette Fix mod. Extract the app somewhere. Launch your game, and then launch the mod.
14 maj 2021 · This mod includes a single DLL file that you place in your games base directory and will spawn a menu when you press Insert while in-game. Once in said menu you're free to configure the mod features all you want!
My issue with the game was the horrible mouse options. The sensitivity silder needs to go way up. using the highest sensitivity I still had to change my mouse DPI from 400 to 1600 just for it to be playable. Also there wasn't a FOV slider in the demo, which is actually a deal breaker for me.
[MOD DEPRECIATED SEE STICKIED COMMENT] So CAPCOM still has this insane idea that games are more spook if the FoV is so tight you get motion sick. So I fixed it. Oh and the vignette.
