Try using this wonderful information provided by the Man in Seat 61 on his website: http://www.seat61.com/Europe-train-seat-plans.htm#Spain. First determine the type of train you will be traveling on then click on the appropriate seating plan. The seating plan shows each car, seat, and the direction of travel.
Renfe AVE S-103. In some S-103 trainsets, car 3 is Comfort class with a similar layout to car 2. Coach 8 is normally the Quiet coach. Original layout when introduced. Coche 4 – café-bar.

Seats will automatically be assigned when booking tickets for journeys by RENFE-SNCF train services. Rail pass users will need to have made reservations prior to boarding (see below).
4 lip 2019 · On AVE, second class is perfectly comfortable with seats four-to-a-row across the train car, and first class is a bit more luxurious, with seating three to a row (two seats together, one separate, aisle in the middle).
