Hi all, I've been looking for a PS script that I can push through Intune to uninstall the pre-installed Dell Bloatware apps (Dell Optimizer, Dell Power Manager, SupportAssist, etc), but have been unsuccessful in my attempts so far.
The advantage of no bloatware from Dell is more about saving time involved in uninstalling the software you didn't want in the first place, especially for small businesses who have a lean IT staff or no IT support at all. Bypassing the trialware options gives you a more efficient, safe and cost-effective method for prioritizing your applications.
If you want recovery then just use the Windows's one, SupportAssist OS Recovery is bloatware. Dell Power Manager is a good one if you are "constantly" changing thermal settings every hours (I don't know why would anyone do this), otherwise you can setup it in the BIOS once and forget about it.
6 paź 2022 · I use Dell Command Update and the Intel Driver and Support Assist tool which you can get from Intel to handle all my drivers. I run them both monthly. In Pro, you can turn off updating drivers through Windows Update by using Group Policy Editor or with a reg file.
