  4. I use magic erasers. They take off most surface scratches to the point it can look new. Deeper scratches and gouges will take lot more time. Apply pressure evenly with you fingertips and rub repeatedly until it looks the way you want. It'll take awhile but you'll notice it getting better as you go.
