22 kwi 2022 · At the bottom right of the Edge Bar, click the 3 dots and select Settings That will open the settings page in Edge and from there you can stop the Edge Bar starting with Windows. Then click the X button on the Edge Bar to close it.
29 sie 2024 · If you want to disable or remove Edge bar from Desktop, set the option to OFF and Edge bar will not start automatically with Windows. You can immediately close Edge bar by right-clicking on its tray icon and selecting Quit option.
1 cze 2023 · On Windows 10, recently a Microsoft Edge search bar started appearing on the desktop. If you click the 3 dots menu there is an option to "Auto-launch search bar" which you can turn off and then close the bar. One would think this would disable it, but on restart the search bar comes back.
