Below are links to social work regulatory board websites that provide online confirmation of licensure status. Some state social work boards regulate more than one profession, or their license verification system is included as part of a larger system that covers all professional licensing.

License History: Receive a sealed document, listing the complete history of how, when and where a license/registration was issued. Changes that were made to the license/registration will also be included.
3 maj 2022 · Social Worker License by Reciprocity or Endorsement. New York does not grant licenses under reciprocity for LMSWs. If you’re an LMSW in another state you will have to meet all of New York’s requirements and show that you’ve passed the master’s exam.
