19 maj 2023 · A Relative URL in CSS is a way of specifying a file path that is relative to the location of the CSS file itself. Relative URLs are often used in CSS to refer to external resources such as images, fonts, or other CSS files that are needed to style an HTML document.
The URL is relative to the location of the CSS file, so this should work for you: url('../../images/image.jpg') The relative URL goes two folders back, and then to the images folder - it should work for both cases, as long as the structure is the same.

Absolute links are links to a full URL, which can be anywhere on the internet. They require the http:// (or https://) at the beginning. Clicking on one of these links queries the DNS system to find the server where the content lives. Relative links point to local content in your project directory.
