29 paź 2023 · If I remember correctly, you don't need to register the game with EA in order to play the Steam version, but if you want the simpoints, or you want to download a town that is available from EA for free (Riverview?), then you will need to register it with one of the EA sites.

Can someone help me with installing custom content for Sims 3 bought from Steam? I posted a thread earlier but it got closed after I got a generic reply. I already tried putting the package files in My Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Mods\Packages\ but it didn't work.
