29 paź 2023 · If I remember correctly, you don't need to register the game with EA in order to play the Steam version, but if you want the simpoints, or you want to download a town that is available from EA for free (Riverview?), then you will need to register it with one of the EA sites.
The list of codes that pop up (for the base game and the packs installed) when I launch the Sims 3 launcher from Steam does not register/work when trying to encode them onto the register a game page of the Sims 3 website (https://www.thesims3.com/registeragame.html). What am I doing wrong?

I bought The Sims 3 on Steam and want to register my game on TheSims3.com so I can download the Create A World tool. The site asks me for my serial code, which is stored in my computer's registry. I tried putting it into the website to register my game, but it gives me an error:
