VPP is composed of three different programs: STAR DEMONSTRATION – recognizes worksites that have Star quality safety and health programs, but requires demonstration and/or testing of experimental approaches that differ from current Star requirements.
VPPPA regions provide VPP outreach, worksite mentoring, and education. Each region is headed by an elected board of directors that consists of occupational safety and health leaders from union and non-union VPP sites.
VPP Programs – View descriptions of the various VPP program types. SGEs – Learn how to become a Special Government Employee. Resources – To further support sites interested in pursuing VPP participation, the association offers the award-winning VPPPA Mentoring Program and the VPP Application Workshop.
VPPPA provides occupational leaders with networking and educational opportunities, up-to-the-minute legislative information, industry advancements, preferred vendors and consultants dedicated to VPP and safety and health management systems, mentoring resources, professional development and volunteer opportunities.
