Article Three: Corporate Governance. AYSO is a single California corporation. Each Region is a part of that corporate entity and, as such, the assets and liabilities of the Region belong to the Corporation.
Region 20 of the American Youth Soccer Organization was chartered in 1972 to provide a fun community youth soccer program for the children of Santa Monica and the surrounding area. In AYSO, Everyone Plays! We emphasize balanced teams, fair play, good sportsmanship, positive coaching and player development. In Santa Monica AYSO, Everyone Volunteers!
Welcome to Fontana AYSO Region 136! Our region is proud to have different programs to fit your child's needs. Whether they are first time players, have experience playing the game, just starting to learn the game at 4 years old, or keeping up their experiences at 18 years old.
Our AYSO Extra program has now expanded into competition with regions is Sections 1, 10 and 11-now called SCEDSL (Southern California Extra Development Soccer League). This is a travel team and the teams play games throughout AYSO Sections 1, 10 and 11-which are LA, Orange County and the Inland Empire regions.
Pursuant to Bylaw 1.04 (l) and NPS 6.1, the Region has the responsibility to operate in accordance with these P&Ps unless the Region has obtained permission from the NBOD or its delegate to vary from these requirements, through the addendum process set forth in Article Ten of these P&Ps.
