From lurking around the internet, the Steelcase Leap V2 seems to be about the best you can get especially when buying sight unseen and being someone of an average build. My budget is the cheaper the better, but not at the expense of future back surgery.

Pros: The lumbar support seems great. Very adjustable, and in the two days I actually used the chair, I feel like my lower back pain dissipated a bit. The casters were nice. These might be Crandall-specific. Assembly was easier than any other chair I've ever used. Objective cons: Noise.
