Open System Preferences>Accounts, unlock the lock, click on the little plus icon, make a new admin account, log out & into the new account. In the same pref pane highlight your old account, click the little minus icon, then use Disk Utility to Secure Erase Free Space.
In Disk Utility on Mac, you can erase and reformat storage devices to use with your Mac. Erasing a storage device deletes everything on it. Important: If you have any files you want to save, copy them to another storage device before erasing a device.

6 sty 2015 · It is new (only 4 month) so I find no other reason. I would like to format it and bring it back to factory condition. 13' retina has no cd drive. How can I do that?

On about the third screen, a menu item appears under Utilities that allows you to set a new admin password. Then do what you want.... you'll need that system disk if you're reformatting the HD anyway. Oh, I meant your friend will need it. ;-) 3. Reply.
