This revised recovery plan was developed by the Red Wolf Recovery Team, a collaborative partnership consisting of Tribal Nation representatives, State and Federal agencies, County government, academia, zoos/conservation centers, non-profit organizations, non-governmental organizations, and landowners, assembled in July 2021.

Members of the team were selected based on their knowledge of the species and/or their expertise in elements of recovery plan design or implementation, including expertise related to Red Wolf recovery (e.g., prey species biology, wildlife disease, coyote management, human-wolf conflict, etc.).
